Actively Responding To Biden's Policy, Nissan Accelerates Its Electrification Transformation: Sales in The US Will Account For 40%
Recently, Nissan Motor stated that it will accelerate its electrification transformation in the North American market. By 2030, the sales of Nissan's electrified models in the US market will account for 40%.
Prior to this, Nissan Motor had announced its carbon-neutral plan, which plans to achieve full carbon neutrality by 2050. It is reported that from 2030, every new car launched in key markets will be a pure electric model. In 2022, Nissan Ariya will begin production and sales in the United States.
It is worth noting that the release of this strategic adjustment is almost the same time as the executive order signed by the US Biden administration. The latter signed a new administrative name at the White House with representatives of Ford, General Motors and Stellaris Group, as well as members of the American Auto Workers Federation, announcing that 40-50% of American car sales will be electrified by 2030.
